Fine Dining Server

We are searching for an experienced server with upscale or fine dining service history to join our talented team here at Tchefuncte’s. This position is ideal for those looking to grow their career into fine dining and learn more about wine.  We would love for you to have years of fine dining restaurant experience, but good tenure in upscale causal also works.  We do hope that you who possess leadership skills, are a good communicator as part of a team, and able to multi-tasking skills with a positive attitude. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our guest's satisfaction, our restaurant's growth and your ability to make a very good living.  

Job Duties:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, engaging service.
• Have full knowledge of food and beverage preparation, guest relations, service styles, and etiquette.
• Be fully knowledgeable about the menu, specials, bar/wine list.
• Deal with potential complaints with a positive attitude when manager is away.
• Suggestive selling and up-selling beverage and food items when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Proven fine dining restaurant serving experience.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Customer service oriented.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale-system.
• Available both daytime and evenings.
