We are looking for a skilled and creative bartender to take drink orders and serve our valued patrons. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a great customer experience. Bartending duties include keeping the bar clean and tidy, presenting menus, serving food and beverages, and crafting drinks and cocktails that exceed our guests' expectations. You should be quick on your feet and have a polite, friendly attitude. If you enjoy engaging with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that helps us attract and retain customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
  • Interact with customers, take their orders, and serve drinks.
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences to make personalized recommendations.
  • Mix ingredients to create cocktails.
  • Present the bar menu to guests.
  • Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a guest-focused approach to ensure an excellent experience for all patrons.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

Skills:

  • Candidates must possess a valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor License
  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • A thorough understanding of mixing techniques, garnishing methods, and serving practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software is required for processing transactions and managing inventory
  • A positive attitude coupled with excellent communication skills is crucial for interacting with customers and team members effectively, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • The ability to maintain an organized, well-stocked, and clean bar area is necessary. This includes regular inventory checks, cleaning tasks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
